An Annual Occasion
Thomas J. Henry has been giving turkeys to needy families each year for over a decade. In fact, an approximate 300,000 people throughout the South Texas region have been impacted by this generous event.
For years, South Texas residents have lined up around Attorney Thomas J. Henry’s building waiting eagerly for their turkey. Often times, the first person in line had been there since two o’clock in the morning and people continue to receive turkeys until late in the afternoon.
People of all ages engulf the downtown Corpus Christi area waiting through the long line the weekend before Thanksgiving in order to get the frozen turkey that will feed many of their families. But the Turkey Giveaways are not just about turkeys. It is truly a way for families and friends to come together for a day of fun and gratitude. There are plenty of activities for the children such as face painting, petting zoos, balloon twisters, clowns, and pictures with Santa. He even gives the community a way to give back with a blood drive at the giveaway location.
An Outreach
While the Corpus Christi has benefited from the event for decades, Mr. Henry recently directed another Turkey Giveaway in the local community of Alice, TX in order to make it easier for those in need to receive a turkey.
This event is about giving back to the people who have given so much to Thomas J. Henry Injury Attorneys. We feel that it is our duty to help those in need and look forward to handing turkeys out for many years to come.
