About the Philadelphia Balcony Collapse
- Originally reported as a fire escape collapse, authorities have confirmed that it was in fact an apartment balcony that collapsed killing a young man.
- According to the Washington Post, the 22-year-old man suffered severe head trauma and neck injuries during the fall, and was pronounced dead at an area hospital early Sunday.
- Two women in their twenties were also involved in the accident, suffering broken bones in their backs. Both are listed in stable condition.
