1 dead, 4 injured in Gruesome NJ Train Accident

A man was struck and killed by a train in New Brunswick, NJ on Tuesday. Four passengers waiting on the platform were injured after being struck by body parts of the victim.

Details of Train Accident

The Huffington Post is reporting that one person is dead and another four are injured after a train accident Tuesday afternoon. Reports from NJ Transit say that a man was standing on the platform and leaned into the path of the oncoming train when he was struck. Four commuters also standing on the platform were injured by flying body parts.

An investigation into the accident is still ongoing. Identities of the victims were not immediately released. Reports say that one of the injured refused treatment. The other three were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At least 300 people were onboard the train that struck and killed the victim. None of the passengers were injured.
