1 Dead, 4 Injured in Sanger Crash

A head-on collision in Sanger, Texas has left one person dead and four others, including two children, injured Monday afternoon.

Details of the Sanger Accident

WFAA reports the driver of a Hyundai Accent crossed the center line of FM 455 near Sanger Highschool and hit a Mitsubishi Endeavor. The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene and two young children that were traveling in the Hyundai were injured.

One of the children was airlifted from the scene to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. The child’s condition was not immediately available.

The driver of the Mitsubishi had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Sanger Fire Department. The driver was then airlifted to Medical Center of Plano with serious injuries.

Investigations into the accident are ongoing. The names of those involved have not been released.
