1 Dead in Alabama Trucking Accident

One person was killed in a collision between a Mercury sedan and an 18-wheeler in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday (June 11, 2012).

Accident Remains Under Investigation

Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to the 911 call around 5:25 a.m. on Monday June 11th. The Mercury sedan reportedly collided with a flatbed 18-wheeler and caught fire. At least one person was killed in the trucking accident, which occurred on Alabama 79, also known as Pinson Valley Parkway. This incident is still being investigated by police.
