1 Dead in Arlington Crash

A three-vehicle crash in Arlington, Texas left one person dead and several others injured on Tuesday.

Details of the Arlington Car Crash

According to the Star-Telegram, the fatal accident occurred on Interstate 20 near the U.S. 287 merger around 2 pm. A Honda merging on to I-20 from U.S. 287 rear-ended a Mazda, forcing it into a Lexus traveling in a lane to the Mazda’s immediate left.

The impact resulted in the death of a backseat passenger of the Mazda – two other occupants of the Mazda, both children, were transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. The two remaining occupants of the Mazda were uninjured.

The driver of the Honda was taken to the Medical Center of Arlington to be checked out. None of the Lexus’ occupants were injured.

The identities of those involved have not been released. Investigators were at the scene of the crash for four hours Tuesday, investigations into the crash are not yet complete.
