About the Conroe Bicycle Accident

The police responded at the intersection of Route 110 on Orchard Street at 8 a.m. on Friday after an officer witnessed the accident.

The police interviewed the child and determined the brakes on his bicycle were not working when the collision with the vehicle occurred. The driver of the car who was hit stayed on the scene to make sure the child was okay.

The boy complained of elbow pain but did not require hospitalization. His mother said his regular physician would examine him.

No files were charged against the driver, but authorities are reminding residents to keep up with regular bicycle and automotive safety and maintenance.
