100 Plus Passengers Fall Ill On Cruise Ship

According to Fox News, more than 100 passengers aboard the P&O Oriana cruise ship were sickened with norovirus while on a 10-day Northern European tour. The outbreak remains under investigation.  

Norovirus Plagues Cruise Ship

The passengers aboard the P&O Oriana, which is owned by Carnival, were reportedly plagued by illness from the moment of the ship’s departure on December 4th. Southampton Port Authority says that roughly 160 outbreaks of the norovirus were reported during the first day at sea. The Southampton Port Authority will be inspecting the ship upon its return.
