According to FOX News, 13 passengers were injured Monday in an early morning bus accident near Los Angeles.

About the Los Angeles Bus Accident

  • The casino tour bus was returning from a Southern California casino when it went off the shoulder of an interstate in Baldwin Park around 4:30 a.m.
  • Authorities are investigating whether speed was a factor in the accident as passengers have stated that the bus was traveling too fast as the driver attempted to navigate an exit ramp.
  • Of the nearly 40 passengers returning from Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, 13 were injured.

  • Monday’s crash is the latest in a series of accidents involving California casino tour buses.
  • Another incident occurred Thursday when a bus returning from a casino in San Diego County overturned, killing 91-year-old Kang Teiu and injuring more than two dozen others. The California Highway Patrol stated the bus was going 65 mph on a rain-slick roadway.
  • 50 miles away, a bus traveling to a different San Diego County Casino crashed killing 64-year-old Tayde Murguia and injuring 19 others.
