2 Children Among Dead After Severe Weather in Texas

Two children were among those killed on a slick road in South Dallas when the family’s car was struck by an SUV at 100 mph.

Details of the Fatal Dallas Crash

According to ABC News, the family of five experienced the crash on November 27 on US 175. One young boy between 12 and 13 years old was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. A girl younger than 13 months died later at the hospital. 

The mother and father of the two children were uninjured while the SUV driver, Kelvin Leon Walker, 23, was treated at an area hospital.

Walker is being held on one count of vehicular manslaughter. Other charges are currently pending. The weather and state of the roads has not yet been confirmed to play a role in the incident.
