The Houston Chronicle reports the accident took place around 3 a.m. Friday when a black Nissan Rogue SUV was heading southbound on HWY-288. According to eye-witnesses at the scene, the SUV began driving recklessly until the vehicle flipped, crashing into a concrete column by the Holly Hall overpass.

Two passengers died at the scene of the accident, ages 17 and 18. The remaining two teenage women from the vehicle were transported to Ben Taub Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital. The survivors suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.
