2 Dead in Livingston Accident

Two people were fatally injured in East Texas Tuesday morning when a passenger vehicle collided with a disabled tow truck.

Details of the Fatal Livingston Accident

According to reports, a tow truck that was pulling a trailer was stopped on the outside southbound lane of US 59 – authorities believe the tow truck was disabled.

The driver of the tow truck had exited the vehicle to warn oncoming traffic of the broken down vehicle, but a van struck the back of the trailer, killing two of the van’s occupants.

The deceased have been identified as Susie Anna Granger, 45, and Shuna Latrice Carter, 41. The accident remains under investigation.
