2 Dead in Odessa Trucking Accident

Two men are dead following a trucking accident outside of Odessa, Texas.

Details of the Fatal Trucking Accident

According to News West 9, authorities responded to a trucking accident along FM 866 near Odessa around 11 a.m. Monday.

Preliminary reports indicate a tractor-trailer struck a pickup truck towing a trailer; however, investigators have not commented on how the accident happened.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and a third was transported to Medical Center Hospital. The identities of those involved have not been released, and the condition of injured individual is currently unknown.

FM 866 was closed from FM 2020 to Interstate 20 for several hours following the accident.
