2 Dead in San Antonio Crash

Two individuals were killed in a traffic collision in San Antonio on the morning of June 20th. Their car was rear ended by a drunk driver, as reported by the San Antonio Express-News.

Details of the Fatal Wreck

Lauren Marie Molina, 21, and Nicholas Ramirez, 22, were in the back seat of a Mitsubishi Galant stopped at a traffic light on the access road of Loop 410 near Texas 151. The vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle and both individuals were killed.

Sylvia Herrera, 26, the driver of a Chevrolet Captiva, was arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault, said San Antonio police.

The driver and front seat passenger of the Galant were taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
