Brooke Shroyer1 year ago

Last Thursday, a father and son died in a fatal car crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County.  Three other people were injured.

Details of the Florida Crash

The crash occurred at around 3 p.m. last Tursday close to mile marker 220, according to a report by the Orlando Sentinel.

Montes expressed that the crash was probably initiated from a tire blowout.  The blowout forced the car off the road and onto the median, as it flipped over.  The car flew into the opposite lanes of traffic going southbound.

William Castillo, 45, was the driver of the vehicle.  His son was identified as Hector Castillo, 15.  They were both killed in the accident.  The son was found not wearing his seat belt.

An 11-year-old boy in the crash had critical injuries.  Another child, age 13, as well as an 80-year-old woman both had minor injuries.

The Florida Turnpike was blocked off from the crash, but has now reopened.  The crash is undergoing further investigation at this time.
