2 Teens Killed in Albrightsville Accident

Two teenagers were fatally injured last Thursday just before 9:00 pm when a minivan overturned near Albrightsville, Pennsylvania.

About the Fatal Albrightsville Accident

According to The Morning Call, the fatal accident occurred along Route 903 during heaving rain when the minivan carrying six teenagers lost control and slammed into another vehicle.

Three of the six teenagers were thrown from the minivan and two were pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased have been identified as Jasmine I. Fonseca, 15, and Taylor D. Shepherdson, 16.

The surviving teens suffered various injuries; fortunately, none were considered life-threatening. The occupants of the other vehicle, Verner and Gail Drohan, 76 and 72 respectively, also escaped serious injury.

Authorities suspect inclement weather played a role in the accident and that the minivan likely hydroplaned prior to the collision.
