2 Teens Killed in San Angelo Crash

A Central High School senior and a recent graduate of the same school died in a traffic collision on Tuesday morning. The victims were a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old.

Details of the Fatal Accident

According to KWTX, the accident occurred north of San Angelo when a pickup truck driven by Noah Whitaker, 17, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck 19-year-old Cesar Castillo’s vehicle.

Castillo graduated from the high school in May; Whitaker had just transferred to the school from Lake View High School.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused Whitaker to cross the centerline.
