20 Injured in Arizona Bus Crash

20 people were injured in Arizona Thursday morning when a tour bus overturned near the Arizona-Mexico border.

About the Bus Crash

According to Fox News, the bus was carrying 52 people when it overturned in Yuma County.

The bus was traveling on a dirt road near a field as part of an agricultural sightseeing trip when it turned over as it was making a turn on an embankment.

At least two of the injured were airlifted to Phoenix-area hospitals while many others were taken to Yuma hospitals including Yuma Regional medical Center for treatment.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident, but reports indicate the bus’s back tire went into soft soil at the edge of the embankment.

The bus was operated by Tour West America.
