3 Children Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver

Three children in Brockton, Massachusetts were struck by a hit-and-run driver around 8 am Thursday while waiting for their school bus.

About the Hit-and-Run Accident

According to the Boston Globe, the children, two boys, 6 and 8, and a girl,8, were waiting on the sidewalk for their school bus near the intersection of Warren Avenue and Myrtle Street when they were struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses reported that the driver, got out of the to check on the children before fleeing the scene. She also reportedly told her passenger the she did not have a license.

The children were taken to Brockton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of the Boston Globe report, the children were in the emergency room.

At roughly 10:15 am, reports came out that a woman was arrested n connection to the accident.
