3 Dead in NE Texas Trucking Accident

At least three people are dead following a trucking accident near the Fannin and Hunt County line of Tuesday.

Details of the Fatal Trucking Accident

WFAA reports the accident occurred on Highway 69 near Leonard, Texas, roughly 52 miles northeast of Dallas.

Investigators investigating the scene stated the deaths were a result of a head-on collision between a passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler – the identities of those involved have not been released.

Traffic was closed in both directions Tuesday and investigations continued. Information as to who is believed to be at fault in the fatal crash has not been released.
