3 Injured, 2 Critically, in Tompkins County Construction Accident

Two workers and a local resident have been taken to the hospital after incurring injuries from a vehicle collision on a construction site in Tompkins County, New York.

About The Tompkins County Construction Accident

According to WBNG, a pair of construction vehicles collided at a job site in Tompkins County where crews were working on rebuilding a bridge. Two workers, Bradley Berggren and Sean Redman, sustained injuries in the accident.

A third person, area resident Johnny Sill, 65, was standing near the site when the accident occurred. He was also injured.

Redman was transported via ambulance with minor injuries; however, Sill and Berggren were less fortunate. Both had to be airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital and are listed in critical condition.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
