3 Injured in Holland, Texas Crash

Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left three injured in Holland, Texas on Thursday.

Details of the Holland Accident

According to KWTX, three people were hurt on Thursday morning when two vehicles collided. The crash occurred on Highway 95 between Mills Road and Land Fill Road.

One victim of the accident had to be saved from an overturned vehicle. All three victims were transporter to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX.

Earlier reports of the accident stated that as many of 10 people were injured, but these reports were false.

  • Texas experienced an increase in the number of motor vehicle traffic fatalities. The 2014 death toll of 3,534 was an increase of 3.70% from the 3,408 deaths recorded in 2013.
  • The Fatality Rate on Texas roadways for 2014 was 1.42 deaths per hundred million vehicle miles traveled. This is a 2.16% increase from 2013.
