3-Year-Old Survives Fall From Fifth Story Window

A 3-year-old girl miraculously survived a fall from a fifth-floor window of a Fairfax County apartment complex.

About the Accident

According to NBC Washington, the toddler fell more than 50 feet from a window at the Skyline Towers Apartments complex in North Virginia.

A witness described hearing screams as the child fell through a window screen that was placed over the window; fortunately, shrubs and branches surrounding the complex aided to break the little girl’s fall.

The child was rushed to Inova Fairfax Hospital where she is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
