30 Injured in Bedford, PA Bus Crash

At least 30 people were injured in a tour bus crash on U.S. Route 220 near Bedford, Pa.

Details of the Bedford Bus Crash

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the bus driver had been driving too fast under the weather conditions on the day of the crash.

Bedford County Emergency Management Director Dave Cubbison also reported that snow on the roads could have been a factor leading to the crash.

AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Randy Adkins stated that visibility conditions were also poor on the day, and had likely impaired driving conditions.

Ambulances from both Pennsylvania and Maryland counties were sent to the scene of the accident. Injured victims of the crash were taken to Western Maryland Health System and UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
