3,500 Utility Vehicles Recalled – Risk of Injury
American SportWorks has recently recalled 3,500 Four-Wheel Off-Road Utility Vehicles due to a risk of injury
About the Utility Vehicle Recall
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the throttle on American SportWorks Four Wheel Off-Road Utility Vehicles can fail to return to idle and cause the rider to lose control, posing a risk of injury.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
The recalled utility vehicles were sold at Atwood Distributing, Rural King, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply Company and other dealers between September 2014 and June 2015 for $4,300 to$5,300.
Description of the Recalled Utility Vehicles
- The recall covers the following models:
- LandMaster 300
- LandMaster 400
- BullDog 300
- Trail Wagon 400
- Chuck Wagon 300
- Chuck Wagon 400
- The name of each model is located above each front fender and along the sides of the dump bed.
- The product identification numbers can be found on a sticker on the firewall above the accelerator and brake pedal.
