4 Injured in GM Plant Explosion
About the General Motors Plant Explosion
Authorities believe that bromide and chlorine were involved in the plant explosion, but have yet to fully determine what events led to the incident.
In total, three of the workers have been hospitalized, with one listed in critical condition. The fourth was treated at the scene.
General Motors has stated that the situation is under control. The plant was evacuated.

- In 2012, OSHA recorded 4,628 workplace fatalities.
- 4,175 of those deaths took place in the private industry with 806 recorded in construction.
