5 Dead, 12 Injured in Fort Worth Trucking Accident

Five people were killed and at least 12 others were injured early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 30 in East Fort Worth, Texas.

Details of the Fatal Trucking Accident

Details of the accident are scarce, but CBS-DFW reports that a tractor-trailer was involved in the collision.

Emergency crews responded to the accident near Oakland Boulevard around 2:30 am. Four patients were pronounced dead at the scene, one male and three females, and a fourth person died shortly after arriving to the hospital.

12 others were injured. One patient has been listed in critical condition and a second person sustained serious injuries. The other 10 sustained minor injuries.

The names of those involved in the accident have not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
