Destiny Baker3 years ago

At least 8 people have been hospitalized resulting from injuries sustained when three row buildings collapsed in South Philadelphia, June 29.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the collapse, but it has been confirmed that a contractor was working in the basement of the building that initially collapsed.

About the Philadelphia Building Collapse

  • The building that initiated the chain of collapses was being worked on by a contractor at the time of the accident.
  • Residents reported smelling natural gas leading to inquiries of whether a gas leak led to the incident.
