Accident in I-95 Construction Zone Kills 2

According to the Villages-News, two people were killed and one was injured at the scene of an accident on I-95 in Volusia County

About The Accident

According to the accident report form the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle reared into the shoulder of the highway, at that time a designated construction zone, and collided with another vehicle.

Alfred Weaver, 56, of Titusville and Clay Suber, 57, of Trenton both died at the scene of the accident. Patrick Tucker, age 19 of Aston was left with serious injuries. He was transported to Halifax Medical Cemter.

Weaver had been driving a 2015 box truck southbound in the outside lane of I-95. Suber and Tucker were in a 2014 Ford pickup truck that stopped facing eastbound on the shoulder of I-95 southbound

The reason for the accident is still under investigation
