Details about the Fatal Farming Accident

WBIW News is reporting that a man was killed in a farming accident that happened in Rural Daviess County on Friday morning.

According to reports from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, officers and other emergency crews responded to the scene of the accident at about 11 a.m. on Thursday in the 7020 block of East County Road 500 North, which is just north of Montgomery.

According to authorities, 41-year-old Andrew “Andy” Graber, who was an Amish minister, was working using a bean drill that was being pulled by a team of horses in a field near his home when the bean drill ran over him.

At this time, authorities do not believe there were any witnesses to the accident, so they are unsure exactly how the accident happened in the first place.
