Claudia Y. Polendo
Ms. Claudia Y. Polendo is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry.
Ms. Polendo was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and is the youngest of three children. Her parents worked very hard to provide for Ms. Polendo and her siblings. With her parents support and diligence, Ms. Polendo was able to graduate from private school at the age of 16. She went on to attend Texas A&M International University, where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, before completing her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry, Ms. Polendo practiced as a solo-practitioner, appearing in over 700 hearings across 35 South Texas counties. She now focuses her practice on the representation of client injured in auto and trucking accidents, company vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents.
Outside of her work as an attorney, Ms. Polendo is an avid reader and is part of a book of the month club. She is a mother to a 4-year-old rescue dog named Diego whom she adopted from the SPCA in Houston, Texas during her first year of law school.
