Jacob S. Hughey
Mr. Jacob S. Hughey is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry’s Corpus Christi office.
Mr. Hughey completed his Juris Doctor at Texas Tech University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Texas Tech University.
During law school, Mr. Hughey served as a judicial intern at the Collin County Courthouse and Dallas County Courthouse. As a judicial intern, Mr. Hughey was tasked with performing various research and writing projects for judges, including bench memorandum for complex issues in civil law. After obtaining his Juris Doctor, Mr. Hughey began working as an associate attorney with a small family practice in Richardson, Texas. Mr. Hughey represented clients in all phases of proceedings in personal injury, probate, and family law. Mr. Hughey was also responsible for drafting motions, meeting with clients, and trial preparation and research.
Joining Thomas J. Henry in 2016, Mr. Hughey primarily represents clients injured in auto accidents, drunk driving accidents, and premises liability accidents. In his spare time, Mr. Hughey enjoys leading an active, outdoors lifestyle and spending time with his wife and their border collie.
