Mr. Jeffrey Zerda joined Thomas J. Henry in 2016 and currently works alongside the firm’s senior litigators in pursuit of fair compensation for clients injured in auto and trucking accidents, company vehicle accidents, product liability litigation, and premises liability accidents.
Mr. Zerda obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service. As a student, Mr. Zerda developed a passion for international law and served as one of two Managing Editors for the Texas International Law Journal. He also served as a Co-Captain for UT Law during the 2014-2015 Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and presented a paper on contested waters at the European Society of International Law 2014 Conference.
In addition to his scholarly endeavors, Mr. Zerda interned with the Bexar County Criminal District Court and served as a corporate legal intern with large financial services firm. These positions required Mr. Zerda to draft various legal orders and to complete expansive research memoranda for a broad range of legal matters, including Texas Property Tax Law, doctrines of statutory construction, constitutional law, and the Texas Public Information Act.
Mr. Zerda still maintains a great interest in international law and currently runs a small blog on international law with a friend. Mr. Zerda also enjoys the outdoors and likes to camp and hike whenever time allows.
