Mr. Joe Napiltonia brings a wealth of experience to the firm having represented plaintiffs for nearly a decade. He has served as lead counsel in more than 20 cases in federal district courts in Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts and Michigan. Mr. Napiltonia has prevailed at trial in state and federal court as well as the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Court of Criminal Appeals.
In 2014, Mr. Napiltonia testified before the U.S. Senate regarding pro-veteran legislation that protects Servicemember’s rights in the workplace. He was honored with the Seven Seals Award by the Department of Defense for his volunteer work mediating disputes between returning veterans and their employers. Mr. Napiltonia also secured a favorable jury verdict in federal court in 2016 on behalf of an Air Force Reservist who was discriminated against by his employer. The employer was ordered to pay more than $400,000 for its violations of the law.
Mr. Napiltonia has won the professional recognition of his peers and was selected as a Rising Star by Tennessee Super Lawyers in 2016 and 2017.
Mr. Napiltonia earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Florida Frederic C. Levin College of Law and his Bachelor of the Arts from Georgetown University.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Napiltonia served six years as a Navy SEAL.
