Kathleen H. Crook
Ms. Kathleen H. Crook is an accomplished attorney with experience in a variety of legal disciplines, including administrative law, business law, intellectual property law, and privacy law.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Ms. Crook attended the University of Texas at El Paso where she obtained a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science. Soon after, Ms. Crook moved to Baltimore and attended Johns Hopkins University, graduating with a Masters in Government. Ms. Crook then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where she completed her Doctor of Jurisprudence.
After working for the U.S. Department of Commerce for several years, Ms. Crook traveled to Baghdad, Iraq to work as a legal advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense. Ms. Crook was responsible for drafting Iraqi specific regulations covering satellite, wireless, and country code internet domain registration for the Iraqi National Communications & Media Commissions. She also provided legal support to senior officers, U.S. Embassy Foreign Service Officers, and Iraqi representative in the telecommunication field on capacity building, legal and regulatory compliance issues, and market competition.
Ms. Crook returned to Texas in 2014 and joined Thomas J. Henry in 2016. Ms. Crook prides herself on her ability to increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and foster communication among colleagues and peers – traits that have proven to be indispensable as she works alongside Thomas J. Henry’s senior litigation team to resolve the firm’s most demanding cases.
