Kerry S. Alleyne
Ms. Kerry S. Alleyne joined Thomas J. Henry in 2017.
Ms. Alleyne holds a Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School where she graduated in the top 5% of her class. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Rutgers University.
While attending law school, Ms. Alleyne participated in Moot Court, Law Review, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She served as a Dean’s Fellow where she taught legal research and writing to first year law students and earned the Wig and Gavel Award for the student most likely to be successful in the practice of law.
During law school, she interned for the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the Airline Pilots Association, gaining experience writing appellate motions and researching legal issues involving Wrongful Death Act and Survivorship Statutes, Labor and Employment Law, and the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute.
Ms. Alleyne has extensive trial and case experience in all aspects of civil and business litigation, and has been instrumental in restructuring millions of dollars in debt for small to mid-size business owners. She is often commended by the Judges and her peers on her professionalism and excellent work product.
Ms. Alleyne currently serves as an attorney volunteer for Human Rights Initiative of North Texas.
