Mr. Kyle McClain is a highly skilled, results-driven litigation counsel.
Mr. McClain earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Houston. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University.
After graduating, Mr. McClain worked as a private-practice attorney for several years before becoming a litigation counsel for a number of prominent Fortune-500 companies, including Anadarko Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, and Monsanto. As a litigation counsel, he managed budgets, hired staff, and personally handled courtroom cases all while building the legal capabilities within each company.
Mr. McClain’s years of successfully designing innovative strategies at the Monsanto Company lead to his promotion to Deputy General Counsel/Chief Litigation Counsel. Under this title, Mr. McClain rapidly resolved ongoing U.S.D.A. investigations, protected corporate reputation, and saved the company millions of dollars. His role in the company was instrumental to the department’s being named Most Innovative Legal Department of 2013 by Financial Times.
Mr. McClain is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of South Carolina Actual Innocence Justice Center, an organization dedicated to exonerating the innocent and supporting those wrongfully convicted.
