Luis F. Baez
Mr. Luis F. Baez represents injured victims in complex personal injury cases across the United States. He has participated in multiple civil trials resulting in multi‐million dollar jury verdicts in favor of his clients. He is a proud native of the Rio Grande Valley, loyal supporter of the Texas Longhorns, and a devoted member of his family and his community.
Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Baez earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston. During law school, he excelled as an award-winning courtroom advocate and received multiple recognitions which include the “CALI Award for Highest Grade of the Class,” “Mock‐Trial Champion,” and “Top Trial Advocate.”
While excelling in the classroom, Mr. Baez also worked for federal judges in Houston and Galveston as well as the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in San Antonio. Later, Mr. Baez joined a prominent Houston law firm where he focused on catastrophic personal injury and helped clients recover millions of dollars nationwide.
Joining Thomas J. Henry in 2019, Mr. Baez now employs his advocacy and legal experience to help injured victims during complex commercial litigation. His motivation is to help everyday families recover good health and financial loss after devastating accidents.
Outside of the office, Mr. Baez enjoys coaching trial advocacy to future lawyers and visiting his family and friends in South Texas.
