Luis R. Espinoza
Mr. Luis R. Espinoza is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry.
Mr. Espinoza is a first generation American and was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Texas at Austin. While attending Baylor University School of Law, Mr. Espinoza volunteered with the Baylor Immigration Clinic, filing DACA applications for low-income clients.
Mr. Espinoza has experience conducting depositions, assisting in voir dire selection, conducting discovery, and drafting pretrial motions and memoranda. Mr. Esponiza has also completed extensive nonprofit work, such as filing asylum petitions and other humanitarian visas, and has worked with nonprofits including Texas RioGrande Legal and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
Joining Thomas J. Henry in 2017, Mr. Espinoza currently represents clients injured in auto and trucking accidents, company vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents. Outside of the office, Mr. Espinoza enjoys practicing and watching martial arts and has about a decade of training in karate and taekwondo.
