Melissa P. Casey
Ms. Melissa P. Casey is a senior litigator at Thomas J. Henry Law’s San Antonio office.
Ms. Casey has more than 25 years of experience handling personal injury cases with a focus on medical malpractice. During the course of her career, Ms. Casey has successfully litigated from both sides of the personal injury docket, providing her with a unique understanding of the legal strategies often used by defense attorneys and firms. A couple of her notable cases include the representation in federal court of hundreds of members of a large union seeking to terminate a wrongful trusteeship and a lengthy trial involving the representation of a student rape victim in a case against the Board of Education for the City of Chicago.
Ms. Casey earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence at DePaul University – College of Law in Chicago and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is admitted to the State Bars of Illinois and Texas as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Texas, and the Eastern District of Texas.
When not zealously representing her clients, Ms. Casey enjoys tennis, golf, travel, and spending time with her husband, Chris, and their five children and three dogs.
