Ms. Ral Nwankwo joined Thomas J. Henry in 2015.

Ms. Nwankwo received her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and her Masters of Law (Summa Cum Laude) from American University Washington College of Law, both in Washington, D.C. She also received a dual Bachelor’s degree in History and Psychology from Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

While attending Howard University, Ms. Nwankwo served as a student attorney in the Fair Housing Clinic, where she represented impoverished D.C. residents. Additionally, as a member of the International Moot Court Team, she participated in the D.M. Harish International Moot Court Competition in Mumbai, India – her team won the Best Advocates award.

During law school, Ms. Nwankwo also interned with several law firms in Washington D.C., gaining experience in conducting case research, drafting complaints, appellate briefs, motions, settlement agreements, and conducting client interviews.

Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry, Ms. Nwankwo served as an associate attorney in a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C where she represented clients in personal injury, criminal appeals, immigration, and international legal matters.

As an associate attorney with the firm’s Houston office, Ms. Nwankwo currently represents clients involved in auto and trucking accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, premises liability accidents, and product liability accidents.

Outside of work, Ms. Nwankwo enjoys spending quality time with her husband, inspirational blogging, and fine dining.
