Scott D. Weaver
Mr. Scott D. Weaver is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry.
Mr. Weaver received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law and also holds a Masters of the Arts in Latin American Studies from the Lozano Long Institute for Latin American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of the Arts in Latin American Studies from Marlboro College, where he graduated with honors.
After law school, Mr. Weaver served in the United States Department of Justice, where he clerked with the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Later, he represented clients before several Immigration Courts in Texas. His work included securing freedom for detained clients in bond hearings as well as defending clients from deportation in immigration trials.
As an attorney at Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Weaver currently represents clients involved in automobile accidents, company vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, and workplace accidents. He is a tireless and creative advocate and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Beyond his work as an attorney, Mr. Weaver served as a Non-Commission Officer in the United States Navy from 2002-2008, during which time he was stationed aboard the USS Lake Champlain (CG-57) and participating in three overseas deployments. In his spare time, he enjoys lifting weights, reading history, and watching Seinfeld.
