Sharon E. Hernandez
Ms. Sharon E. Hernandez is an associate attorney at Thomas J. Henry. She has more than 15 years of litigation experience and has practiced law from both the defensive and plaintiff perspectives.
A native Houstonian, Ms. Hernandez lived in Texas through graduate school. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Houston – Downtown and a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas. In 1998, Ms. Hernandez moved to New York where she attended Tuoro College – Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
After law school, Ms. Hernandez remained in New York where she practiced law for more than a decade. Ms. Hernandez represented clients in complex legal matters concerning Insurance Law, Civil Appellate Law, and Personal Injury Law. She returned to Texas in 2014 as a sole practitioner with a concentration on Family Law and Contract Law. Ms. Hernandez joined Thomas J. Henry in 2018 where she represents clients injured in auto accidents, trucking accidents, company vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents. She is also a member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society of highly qualified lawyers committed to maintaining high ethical standards and improving training for all Texas attorneys.
Outside of her work as an attorney, Ms. Hernandez continues to hold an avid interest in the arts, particularly art history and ancient architecture. Inspired by her studies at the University of St. Thomas, Ms. Hernandez traveled extensively to museums and ancient buildings as far away as Russia, Italy, and Hungary. She also enjoys passing time with her numerous nieces and nephews and spending time with her two cats and two dogs.
