Cassandra Escobedo

Ms. Cassandra Escobedo earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Southern University- Thurgood Marshall School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

While attending law school, Ms. Escobedo worked as a student attorney at the wills, probate, and guardianship clinic where she reviewed and probated wills, and assisted in guardianship matters. Ms. Escobedo also served as a legal intern for the Earl Carl Institute at Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she was awarded a grant with the Opal Mitchell Lee Property Preservation Projection. With the grant, Ms. Escobedo was able to work on eviction cases, real property records, and civil litigation for clients that could not afford representation. Furthermore, Ms. Escobedo is a certified mediator who provides guidance in an impartial and neutral role in the negotiation of differences between two parties.

Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Escobedo worked as an immigration attorney in Houston, Texas. She represented individuals fleeing their countries and claiming asylum in the United States of America, Ms. Escobedo has worked on various appellate briefs for the Board of Immigration Appeals. As an attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Escobedo’s current focus is representing clients injured in personal injury matters, including car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, and workplace accidents.

Outside of the office, Ms. Escobedo enjoys playing with her two dachshunds, making arts and crafts, and shopping. Ms. Escobedo is fluent in Spanish.
