Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's Austin Office
Ms. Catherine Elmore is a seasoned litigator that has been practicing law since 2014 handling a wide variety of matters. She is licensed in both Florida and Texas.
Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Ms. Elmore obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Pre-Law from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated cum laude before attending Creighton School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Evidence. After graduating, she returned to Florida where she served as a guardian ad litem and then a juvenile prosecutor before moving to Austin, Texas.
As a guardian ad litem, Ms. Elmore met with families and children, representing their best interests, both inside and outside of the courtroom, while coordinating with other professionals. This inspired her to become a prosecutor in the juvenile division in Bay County, Florida, where she represented the State in the prosecution of juvenile delinquents with a focus on rehabilitation to decrease recidivism, from drafting motions, attending staff meetings regarding program recommendations for juveniles, teen court, and handling cases from start to finish through the conclusion of trials and sentencing.
Ms. Elmore works now in our prelitigation division, utilizing her years of experience to assist clients in the early stages of their cases and providing them assistance in attempting to resolve their cases outside of the courtroom.
