Derek Ude

Mr. Derek Ude earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Houston Law Center and also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Houston.

During law school, Mr. Ude worked as a law clerk for two Houston-based law firms focused on auto accident claims and other personal injury matters. He also worked as a student attorney with the University of Houston Law Center Transactional Law Clinic. In this role, Mr. Ude spent over 200 hours assisting clients with business formation and contract drafting as a lead attorney with the law clinic.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Ude worked as a secretary, a legal assistant, and a law clerk focused on personal injury.

Joining Thomas J. Henry Law in 2021, Mr. Ude represents clients injured in auto accidents, company vehicle accidents, truck accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents.
