Hayden Carlos

Mr. Hayden Carlos is an ambitious attorney from Lafayette, Louisiana.

Mr. Carlos earned his Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.

During his first two summers in law school, Mr. Hayden Carlos worked as a law clerk first for the Juvenile Division of the public defender office in Nashville, Tennessee, and then for the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s office. As a law clerk, he researched and drafted motions and memoranda as well as assisted counsel in court, trial preparation, and client interviews.

After Mr. Carlos’s second summer of law school, he continued to work at the Baton Rouge Public Defender’s office as a student investigator. In this new role, he assisted in special projects, one of which required him to assist in drafting a writ opposition to the Supreme Court of Louisiana. The Court ruled in his client’s favor.

When not in the office, Mr. Carlos enjoys spending time with his wife and high school sweetheart Jada and their two dogs.
