Jason Benham

Mr. Jason Benham was born in San Antonio and raised in Lorena, where he played varsity soccer at Lorena High School. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from SMU Dedman School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of Texas at Dallas.

Mr. Benham chose to become an attorney because he wanted a challenging profession that would allow him to help people. Mr. Benham has family members who work in medicine, so he initially thought of pursuing a career in the medical field; however, he later determined the legal field better suited his strengths. Similar to the medical field, the legal field allows Mr. Benham to help injured clients as they recover from an unexpected accident or injury.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. Benham served over a month in Belize and Guatemala on medical missions with Baylor University, helping to provide medical care and dental care to local residents. He is a fan of the Baylor Bears and the Texas Rangers.
