Jose F. Quiles, III

Mr. Jose F. Quiles, III has nearly 15 years of experience in the practice of law and has tried over fifty cases to verdict in state and federal courts. He is a fierce, dedicated, and compassionate advocate for injured people.

As a former defense attorney, Mr. Quiles has a clear understanding of the methodologies employed by insurance companies in defending personal injury cases. This experience allows him to formulate winning strategies on behalf of his clients. Mr. Quiles is also an experienced and successful negotiator, having successfully negotiated thousands of cases throughout his career. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Texas and Connecticut. He is motivated by his duty to help injured people obtain the compensation they deserve. This is the ‘grind’ that fuels him each and every day. Mr. Quiles is fully bilingual (Spanish).

Mr. Quiles was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He and his family moved to the United States in 1987. After graduating from high school, Mr. Quiles went on to graduate with honors from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. He then successfully completed his legal studies at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Quiles began his career as a claims adjuster and litigation specialist for Zurich N.A. He then became staff counsel for Allstate Insurance, where he first-chaired 23 jury verdicts and seven court-side verdicts in two years.

Mr. Quiles became an advocate for injured people in 2008. Since that time, Mr. Quiles has first-chaired 21 jury verdicts and 11 court-side verdicts on behalf of injured clients.  In addition, Mr. Quiles has successfully negotiated thousands of personal injury cases and has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of injured persons.

Mr. Quiles is married to his wife Maria. They have two daughters, and they enjoy spending time together as a family. He is a man of faith and is actively involved in his local church in different capacities, though his favorite area of ministry is teaching Sunday school to elementary-aged children.
