Marissa Young

Ms. Marissa Young grew up in Long Island, New York. She graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Marine Policy. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where she won awards in Torts and Alternative Dispute Resolution. During law school, Ms. Young worked for Jotwell: The Journal of Things We Like (Lots), where she edited essays by law professors from around the world.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Young managed various financial publications. She also volunteered for the Earth Law Center, where she researched environmental legal issues and drafted legislation and reports.

Ms. Young is currently an attorney at Thomas J Henry Law, where she is committed to fighting for her clients’ rights so that they get the compensation they deserve.

In her spare time, Ms. Young appreciates spending time with her family and their Biro Yorkie, Willow. She is also an animal lover and enjoys having trivia nights with her friends.
